![]() Second, Nero basically "awakened" his DT 3 times, the first was when his arm changed into his devil bringer, the second when he was stabbed by agnus and the third in the end fo DMC 5 So what are you're guys thoughts on this?įirst, dante couldn't use DT at the start of 1 because it was to introduce the DT mechanic properly with alastor, also it was the first game, a lot has changed since thenĭante didn't need the sparda to use DT again, he needed sparda for an energy refill and power upĪnd nelo angelo's armor is basically it's devil trigger, just that instead of transforming vergil, the armor is using him as a battery The only issue is that the two devil arms we've seen be forged this way (Devil Sword Dante and Cavalier) both had other components play a factor (Rebellion and Cavalier Angelos armour). Considering that one of the ways a devil arm is created is just by pouring excessive amounts of demon energy into it, its possible that Nero unknowingly turn Red Queen into a devil arm. This is possible, but I don't think it's likelyĢ- Prolonged use by Nero has turned Red Queen into a devil arm. Since we don't know anything about Neros mother, its possible that he inherited what ever this ability is from her. It doesn't quite behave like a normal DT, his clothes aren't incorporated into it, and he gets those astral wing claws. With my understanding I think there's two possible explanations.ġ- Its not actually a proper Devil Trigger. However, Nero is able to DT in the climax despite not possessing a devil arm. Its been shown time and time again than in order for a demon-hybrid to DT they need to be wielding a devil arm, in DMC1 you can't DT until you get Alistor, in DMC5 Trish had to throw Dante Devil Sword Sparda so he could DT against Urizen, and Vergil as Nelo Angelo doesn't DT since he's not wielding Yamato.
